▶Objectives
The primary objective of our project is to raise awareness about the ethical and ecological sustainability of AI. We are producing a podcast series dealing with ethical, economic, and ecological matters of AI usage. Furthermore, we are developing an interactive website that lets users reflect on prompt energy consumption and proper prompt formulation. By educating the public and providing practical tools, we aim to foster a responsible approach to AI.
▶Activities
Kick-Off Activity: Teachers will learn how AI works and its energy consumption. Planning and Information Exchange: Focus on planning the project and exchanging information about sustainable AI, podcasts, and technologies. Implementation Phase: Develop website tools and incorporate new ideas into the podcast. Finalization and Testing: Complete implementation, finalize the podcast, and test the products. Retrospective and Reporting: The final meeting will review the project and write the report.
▶Impact
We expect our project to achieve the following results: Guidelines in terms of prompting. Between 3 and 4 podcasts covering topics in the fields of ecological, ethical, and economic usage of AI. Prompt Analyzer: Analyzes the precision of a prompt. Consume Game: A gamification tool to raise awareness about the energy consumption of prompts. Students and teachers who have engaged with the sustainability of AI and can share this knowledge with others.
