▶Objectives
In vocational schools, the scope of political education is limited. Therefore, the project aims to integrate democracy education into the subject curriculum. Teaching modules are being developed that utilize both digital and in-person formats to effectively implement democracy education. This promotes students' engagement with democratic values and strengthens their ability to actively participate in societal processes and advocate for shared values.
▶Activities
-2 surveys among colleagues regarding democracy education in subject teaching + evaluating the developed teaching modules -Kick-off workshop for teachers to analyze the survey results and agree on standards for the project -Creation of 3 teaching modules, tested and supplemented by international student groups (peer learning) -Module Adjustment based on student results, providing them in the Twinspace and on the homepage -Dissemination activities through homepages, Instagram account,final event

-Two-part survey of the teaching staff from participating schools regarding democracy education in subject teaching. - 3 teaching modules (digital and in-person formats) with the following focuses: Module 1: European Citizenship: Values of the European Union / Democracy Module 2: Social Media and its influence on Democracy Education Module 3: Opportunities for Student Participation -Homepage where the teaching modules are available in English
