TIFA intends to contribute to wider availability of first aid courses for persons with disabilities by addressing a gap in trainer education. Regular first aid trainer education does not currently include how to teach first aid to persons with disabilities and most educational offers that exist are thus based on experience, flexibility, and goodwill of individual trainers. TIFA will develop and test a train-the-trainer module for further and initial trainer education to address this issue.
