The EPI team aims to provide valid support to disadvantaged people, to help them overcome mental limitations and to master new learning tasks in professional, social or personal areas. VET trainers and learning guides are important points of contact and demonstrate respect. A change in beneficiaries attitude can activate many success factors and enhance courage. The basic explanation of epigenetics promotes a coherent approach by beneficiaries and ultimately results in greater self-efficacy.
▶Activities
We empower trainers and learning guides to support their beneficiaries with validated exercises and effective tools. In addition, learners themselves can use the ExperiMENTAL app to experience all the exercises in a self-learning process and become independent of trainers. This promotes personal responsibility, confidence and courage. An assessment using the Epi-Sensor can visualise progress and developments. All tools and exercises are tested and validated and are linked to microcredentials.
▶Impact
Our stakeholders recognise the value of supporting beneficiaries based on epigenetic scientific findings. The results are feedback on an improved quality of life, self-confidence, self-efficacy, resilience and health of the target persons. Ideally, they are able to support their own environment. They thus contribute to a positive development of our society. In challenging situations, these people are able to keep a clear head and maintain positive social interaction with their environment.
