โถObjectives
The pARameter project leverages augmented reality (AR) to enhance the teaching and learning of spatial geometry. By combining the expertise of experts, teachers, and learners, we are developing the malAR app alongside tailored teaching materials. This results in a comprehensive unique AR-based learning environment enhancing the understanding of spatial concepts in mathematics, making geometry explorable and tangible for learners in the classroom.
โถActivities
- innovative malAR augmented reality smartphone app including a digital classroom as individual digital teaching space - tailored educational resources to support teachers and learners including lesson units offering guidance and implementation ideas for teachers - extensive AR task databases, providing a comprehensive collection of ready-to-use materials for in-app use - international teacher meeting and training sessions to promote pARameter, fostering its adoption across Europe
โถImpact
1. High quality app development to integrate 3D mathematical objects into real-world environments using augmented reality (AR) 2. Creation of an AR task database featuring preconfigured AR scenes available within malAR app 3. Teaching resources guiding teachers on integrating malAR and its materials effectively in class 4. Dissemination of pARameter project and its outcomes 5. During the project's lifetime, the number of malAR scenes (+800) and malAR users (+400) will grow greatly
