Objectives

SafER-Web empowers adolescents (12-18) to navigate the digital world safely by preventing cyberbullying, grooming, sexting, phishing, and other online threats. Through an AI-powered learning platform, a self-assessment tool, and gamified educational modules, it enhances digital readiness, fostering critical thinking and informed decision-making. The project also promotes well-being at school, mitigating the psychosocial impact of online risks through awareness campaigns and school initiatives.

Activities

Key activities include: the development and deployment of an AI-driven chatbot to identify cyber risks; comprehensive training and awareness programs for teenagers, but also teachers, school heads, families; and the establishment of a Training and Awareness Platform for resource sharing and collaboration. The project will also analyze the ethical risks related to AI applied to sensitive targets like teenagers and it will include dissemination events and advocacy campaigns.

Impact

SafER-Web will develop an AI-powered self-assessment tool to identify harmful online behaviors, an interactive learning platform, and a gamified learning tool to help adolescents tackle online risks such as cyberbullying, grooming, phishing, and sexting. It will produce educational materials and training for educators and parents, ensuring accessibility. Impact assessments, awareness workshops, and dialogue with policymakers will promote adoption and ensure long-term sustainability in Europe.
