โถObjectives
This project aims to empower young people by engaging them directly in the co-design and prototyping of youth-focused spaces. Through hands-on experience and innovative design methodologies, participants will enhance their creativity, technical skills, and leadership abilities. By fostering active youth participation, the project will contribute to the development of more inclusive, sustainable and adaptable communities, positioning young people as key change-makers in shaping their environments
โถActivities
The project will develop a co-design methodology, researching youth-led placemaking initiatives and setting up local co-design labs in each partner country. Youth will actively engage in hands-on workshops, 3D printing prototyping and pilot testing in real-world settings. The project will culminate in a DIY manual to ensure replicability and long-term impact across communities, while youth workers will benefit from a Training Course to strengthen their co-design and mentoring skills.
โถImpact
The project will create a Co-Design Methodology Handbook, providing a replicable guide for engaging youth in participatory placemaking. Youth will co-create modular prototypes for youth spaces, supported by a DIY manual for easy replication. Youth workers will enhance their skills through international training sessions. These results will be disseminated through digital toolkits, multiplier events, and online platforms to ensure broad accessibility and long-term impact across Europe.
