Objectives

The project aims: to enhance youth organizations’ capacity to address mental health issues caused by climate crisis (eco-anxiety); to equip youth workers with science-based tools to tackle climate-related mental distress, particularly among marginalized youth, and to foster climate resilience, mindful leadership, and planetary well-being through arts and culture; to strengthen cross-border partnerships enabling youth organizations to co-create innovative solutions for planetary well-being.

Impact

Collaboration among partners will result in equipping them with a user-friendly "Roots of Climate Resilience" toolkit to address eco-anxiety, and skills to implement local programs among young people that foster climate resilience. The "Leadership for Planetary Well-being" manual and training course will empower youth workers to be mindful leaders for planetary well-being. Dissemination activities will expand impact, ensuring sustainability and inspiring action on climate-related mental health.
