Objectives

Youth DRAMA aims to provide youth workers with a new youth work methodology combining theatre techniques with digital practises and with a set of activities to increase digital resilience, media literacy, and empowerment of youth from ethnic minorities background. It also aims to empower youth to combat online misrepresentation and hate speech while building more inclusive communities, fostering youth’s inclusion, digital citizenship and online well-being.

Activities

WP 2 to 4 include international, local and online activities to upskill youth workers on the new methodology and increase youth’s knowledge and skills concerning the 3 pillars of DCE. They also include the creation of a Youth Worker Methodology Training Programme and Toolkit to implement activities with youth, youth’s performance videos and a website. The project also includes interactive webinars and multiplier events throughout the project to increase its impact and achieve objectives.

Impact

It will enhance digital resilience, social inclusion and online well-being in youth from ethnic minority backgrounds. They will develop digital awareness and skills to spot and positively respond to online biases and discrimination, while increasing social participation and empowerment to advocate for more inclusive online spaces and communities. Partners will increase digital and intercultural skills, more responsiveness to current youth issues and an innovative scalable youth work method.
