โ–ถObjectives

Through "Words as Worlds," we aim to enhance language-conscious youth work practices, enabling youth workers to effectively address issues of identity, inclusion, and communication. We strive to foster social inclusion and intercultural dialogue among young people from diverse linguistic backgrounds. The project supports the preservation of minority languages and cultural heritage, builds capacity within youth organizations, and promotes collaboration and resource sharing across the youth sector

โ–ถActivities

We will build local alliances to understand linguistic barriers and contexts, establishing a digital collaboration space for partners. We will implement capacity-building programs, including training courses in Germany and Spain for 27 youth workers, and facilitate an online peer-to-peer platform for ongoing collaboration. Locally, we will integrate developed tools into youth work programs, engage in advocacy with stakeholders, and host a final conference to disseminate outcomes

โ–ถImpact

The project will result in enhanced competencies of youth workers, a co-created toolkit of language-conscious youth work practices, and strengthened partnerships among organizations. We expect improved inclusion of young people from diverse linguistic backgrounds, increased awareness and adoption of inclusive practices among those who lead youth work programs.
