Objectives

AIM: To empower young women with skills and confidence for cybersecurity careers and increase gender diversity by: -Creating an engaging upskilling program to spark interest & prepare women for entry-level roles -Offering interactive, real-world exercises to boost female youth’s skills & job readiness -Equipping youth educators with resources for effective, inclusive cybersecurity training -Promoting project outcomes to bridge the gender gap and strengthen resilience in cybersecurity.

Activities

MAIN ACTIVITIES: -Develop an accessible cybersecurity program for young women, aligned with CompTIA Security+ -Create gamified CTF challenges to boost women’s cybersecurity skills in a fun, competitive setting -Offer guidance & capacity-building for youth educators on gender-inclusive cybersecurity training -Organise female camps, hackathons to enhance cybersecurity skills & employability -Disseminate project results, establish a mentorship network & share role models across Europe.

Impact

MAJOR PROJECT RESULTS: -Launchpad Program: 50-hour entry-level cybersecurity training -Launchpad Interactive Tool with 48+ capture-the-flag cybersecurity challenges (25-hour) -144 young women trained (2 international camps, 6 national camps, 1 hackathon) -30 youth educators trained in gender-inclusive cybersecurity (6 workshops) -24 blog posts featuring role models -60 organizations in mentorship network, 18 MoUs signed -200 participants in D&E events -503 stakeholders involved in activities.
