▶Objectives
The project aims to promote healthy lifestyle habits among students aged 10-14 through regular physical activity and balanced nutrition plans. It enhances teachers' mentoring skills, enabling them to guide students effectively. By creating a comprehensive "FitForKids: Healthy Living and Motivation Module," the project fosters physical and mental well-being, builds an international school network.
▶Activities
The project includes developing the "FitForKids: Healthy Living and Motivation Module," consisting of physical activity plans, nutrition guides, and motivation content. Teachers will receive mentorship training to implement the module, followed by a 4-month pilot program involving 400 students. Two transnational LTT activities will showcase best practices. Schools and local stakeholders will collaborate to ensure sustainability and wide dissemination.
▶Impact
The project will result in the "FitForKids: Healthy Living and Motivation Module" and an Application Guide, empowering teachers to mentor students in adopting healthy lifestyles. 400 students will develop regular physical activity and balanced nutrition habits during the pilot. Partner schools will enhance their institutional capacities, while a European FitForKids School Network will promote sustainability, sharing best practices .
