▶Objectives
The partners of this project are a Turkish, a Spanish, and a Danish school, with the primary aim to develop a guide for teachers and students in multicultural collaborations. The background is that many Erasmus+ projects struggle due to a lack of intercultural competencies. By developing key competencies of students and teachers in relation to intercultural cooperation, cross-border collaboration is enhanced, and multicultural collaboration can become an integrated part of the schools' identity.
▶Activities
The project includes 5 activities: 2 online meetings and 3 mobilities, one in each country. During these activities, students and teachers work on intercultural collaboration from different perspectives, both theoretically and practically. While working on writing a collaboration guide, participants act as both subjects and researchers. At the same time, they develop competencies in the form of knowledge, tolerance, and language to optimize intercultural collaboration.
▶Impact
The project's primary outcome is a collaboration guide to use in intercultural collaborations such as Erasmus+ projects. Additionally, participants in the project acquire key competencies related to intercultural collaboration, including tolerance and communication. They become experts in intercultural collaboration and collaboration in general. The intercultural cooperation will be strengthened in the schools and the local communities. The collaboration between the schools will continue.
