▶Objectives
We wish to address the inclusion issue that estimated 25-30% of our 1st year VET students suffer from lack of confidence in their ability to participate in transnational mobility activities, due to a variety of psychological issues or diagnosed disorders. We want to boost the confidence of this target group by developing, pilot testing and sharing an early mobility success experience concept, based on success parameters of vocational & interpersonal collaboration + performing guest/host roles.
▶Activities
In our project, we will co-create a BEFORE-DURING-AFTER mobility process of soft skills coaching and vocational & social interaction (online & through reciprocal visits) for students from our schools. This process will involve teachers, student coaches and pilot test groups of 3 x 10 1st year students from our respective Food sector VET programmes, all of whom will also validate the experience against the confidence success parameters. Full concept/pilot documentation will be shared & published.
▶Impact
We will develop and disseminate a full documentation package of the co-created concept, the pilot test process and our learning outcomes. 30 target group students will have taken part in, and benefited from the early mobility experience. All 3 schools, their regional & national partners, members of the NORDFOKUS InterReg network, and other package recipients will be enabled to apply the concept to target group students in any VET Sector - with a suitable close neighbour country mobility partner.
