▶Objectives
The Global Climate-Smart Farming (GCSF) project aims to enhance climate-smart agricultural education in VET, equipping students with skills for sustainable farming. Through transnational collaboration and innovative training, the project introduces climate-friendly techniques, preparing students for green careers while aligning VET education with EU sustainability goals.
▶Activities
The GCSF project will develop and pilot a two-week climate-smart farming course for VET students in Denmark and Poland. Activities include curriculum development, hands-on training, and building micro-scale climate farms. The course will be tested with students from both countries, refined based on feedback, and integrated into the Polish VET curriculum. Results will be disseminated through EUROPEA, institutional websites, and multiplier events.
▶Impact
The GCSF project will empower students and teachers with climate-smart farming skills, raising climate awareness and preparing them for a competitive job market. It will deliver a two-week course, hands-on materials, and a micro-scale climate farm model, integrated into VET curricula for lasting impact. Results will be shared via EUROPEA, institutional websites, and multiplier events, promoting innovation in agricultural education.
