▶Objectives
The project aims to improve safety standards in welding workshops by addressing key shortcomings in ventilation, fume extraction, and protective measures in France. It will facilitate knowledge transfer from Denmark's advanced safety model, foster cross-border collaboration, and develop a shared curriculum to enhance health and safety protocols for students and trainers in welding and thermal cutting across partner countries.
▶Activities
The project will implement cross-border workshops in Denmark and France. focusing on sharing best practices and conducting field visits. Activities include developing a course framework on "Enhancing Safety Measures in Welding," translating educational materials, comparing national safety standards, and providing hands-on training sessions. Partners will also engage in collaborative curriculum design, virtual consultations, and testing new safety protocols in real workshops.
▶Impact
Expected outcomes include the development of a multilingual curriculum on welding safety, which will be implemented across Denmark and France. The project will result in improved safety standards in partner institutions, particularly in welding workshops, aligned with Danish models. Strengthened international collaboration and knowledge sharing will contribute to a long-term improvement of safety practices in vocational education, ensuring a safer learning environment for students.
