Youth4Consent strengthens IPPF partners and volunteers in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden by enhancing capacity, sustaining knowledge-sharing, and developing engagement strategies for youth on consent...

Objectives

Youth4Consent strengthens IPPF partners and volunteers in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden by enhancing capacity, sustaining knowledge-sharing, and developing engagement strategies for youth on consent. Through cross-border collaboration, it builds a strong European network for lasting cultural change. Ultimately, it empowers young people with deeper consent awareness and respect, overcoming cultural barriers to open boundary discussions.

Activities

The project focuses on three pillars: capacity building and knowledge sharing, methods and a European network for knowledge dissemination. We will create a toolkit for dialogue and engagement with youth, train volunteers to involve peers, and foster cross-border collaboration among IPPF organizations. Relevant materials will highlight young people’s consent rights online and offline. Insights and best practices will be shared via the youth network YSAFE, enriching Europe’s youth dialogue.

Impact

The project trains 100 staff and volunteers to foster a consent-based culture and informs over 200,000 young people in the Nordic countires about boundaries and respect. Another 15,000 are reached via European partners, broadening the effort. Interactive methods and knowledge sharing reinforce young people’s agency, ensuring a safer sexual future. The new network drives lasting change, fosters shared learning, and promotes healthier relationships for young people across Europe.
