FOREST STAGE develops and promotes innovative pedagogical tools and methods by encouraging the use of theatre in natural surroundings. Environmental education and creativity in schools will be empowered through theatre hackathons in nature to reconnect students with nature and to support sustainable lifestyles.
▶Activities
Develop a pedagogical programme combining object theatre and nature education, integrating SDGs. Design a toolkit for theatre-based environmental learning. Organize 6 pilot events (3 per country) to test the programme with educators and students. Gather feedback to improve the programme and adapt materials for local contexts. Produce 6 tutorial and play example videos. Host an online seminar to review results and share findings through online platforms and local events.

The project will equip schools with new methods for teaching environmental education and creativity through theatre hackathons in nature, empowering students to reconnect with nature and develop sustainable lifestyles aligned with the green transition. The project will promote a deeper understanding of the interdependence between humans and nature, fostering environmental awareness through creative theatre practices. Teachers and educators will be supported with new tools, methodologies.
