▶Objectives
The Voices of Tradition project aims to preserve and evolve Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) by equipping seniors, migrants, and adults with limited digital skills with storytelling and archiving techniques. The project will bridge generations through intergenerational learning, where elders share traditions and youth assist with digital tools. It also fosters inclusion and digital literacy, ensuring marginalised adults can document and celebrate their heritage in a sustainable, digital format
▶Activities
The project will implement five key activities: Transnational ICH Workshop: Establish methodologies for digital ICH preservation. Digital Storytelling Training: Train facilitators in user-friendly digital tools and storytelling. Local Storytelling Labs & Virtual Exchange: Seniors, migrants, and youth collaborate on storytelling. Development of a Digital Archive: Partners curate and publish ICH narratives. Dissemination Events: Public exhibitions and an interactive ICH showcase
▶Impact
The project will train 60+ seniors, migrants, and rural adults, creating a sustainable digital archive with 100+ cultural narratives. It will establish formal partnerships with schools and cultural institutions for continued storytelling activities. The project will also influence policy through a Cultural Policy Brief, promote ICH education via EPALE, and ensure ICH storytelling is adopted by museums, educators, and local policymakers, fostering lifelong learning and digital inclusion.
