▶Objectives
The DIGITEXT project aims to enhance digital readiness, resilience and capacities in the textile sector by equipping VET providers, SMEs and textile workers with digital skills. The general objective is to modernize VET, promote digital innovation and adapt textile workforce to the latest market needs. The project enables digital transformation, ultimately strengthening the sector's competitiveness and sustainability, ensuring socioeconomic benefits and capacity-building.
▶Activities
The following activities will be implemented: •Organization of transnational study visits in the partner countries, for exchange of good practices in the textile sector and its digital transition; •Development of innovative VET curricula, addressing digital transformation in textile sector and SMEs; •Piloting activities, training VET learners, textile SMEs and industry professionals, testing and validating the VET materials of the project; •Dissemination activities, locally & transnationally.
▶Impact
The main results of the core activities will be: •R1: 2 Transnational study visits, with 6 professionals; •R2: European Report on Textile Sector's Good Practices; •R3: DIGITEXT VET Curriculum & Handbook, with 4 modules addressing digital transition of textile sector; •R4: DIGITEXT Piloting Phase, training a total of 10 VET learners & textile SMEs representatives, validating the materials; Assessment Report of the piloting; •R5: Local Multiplier Events, hosting 50 stakeholders & industry experts.
