R-BIObreed fosters biodiversity conservation by supporting the breeding of indigenous livestock breeds. It builds a cross-sector network involving academia, businesses, and regional authorities to tackle climate change, food security, and rural sustainability. The project integrates VET education, digital tools, and market strategies to enhance livestock resilience, economic viability, and sustainable agricultural practices in Southern Europe.

R-BIObreed will implement training, research, and digital innovation to support indigenous breed conservation. Activities include developing a VET curriculum, launching a digital platform and mobile app, conducting field trials on climate-adaptive breeding, and engaging stakeholders through policy recommendations and market strategies. The project fosters cross-sector collaboration, ensuring sustainable livestock practices, biodiversity protection, and economic resilience in Southern Europe.

R-BIObreed will deliver a VET curriculum, a digital platform and mobile app for knowledge sharing, and training modules on sustainable livestock management. It will establish field trials for climate-adaptive breeding, create policy recommendations, and develop certification and market strategies for indigenous breed products.
