Objectives

The SEFOC project aims to equip trainers in non-formal adult education with scientifically grounded tools and strategies for designing and delivering interactive and effective -for learning- online courses. It seeks to enhance trainers’ competencies, improve learner engagement, inclusiveness, and accessibility, and foster evidence-based teaching practices that support lifelong learning and digital transformation in adult education across Europe.

Activities

The SEFOC project will develop an Evidence-Based Online Training Guide, deliver training sessions for adult educators, and support the practical implementation of research-based strategies in online courses. It will also evaluate the impact of these strategies, organize local and international events, and disseminate results through Erasmus+ platforms, social media, and partner websites and networks to ensure widespread adoption.

Impact

The SEFOC project will enhance trainers' competencies in designing and delivering interactive, research-based online courses, improving learner engagement and knowledge retention. It will produce an Evidence-Based Online Training Guide, increase digital teaching skills, and establish a sustainable network of educators. The project’s resources will be freely accessible, fostering long-term impact on non-formal adult education across Europe.
