Objectives

The project aims to improve the well-being of older adults, including migrants and refugees, by reducing social isolation, enhancing digital literacy, and promoting physical and mental health. It fosters intergenerational learning, connecting seniors with young volunteers for mutual support. By creating an inclusive environment, the project helps older adults integrate into new communities, stay active, and lead more fulfilling lives.

Activities

We will organize a 12-week training program in Tenerife covering digital skills, physical activities, stress management, and creativity. The program includes hands-on workshops, interactive group activities, and mentoring from young volunteers. A digital book will be created to document best practices. Local events and dissemination efforts will engage the wider community, ensuring long-term impact and sustainability.

Impact

The project will improve digital skills, social connections, and overall well-being among older adults. Participants will feel more confident using technology, stay physically and mentally active, and experience less isolation. The intergenerational approach will strengthen community bonds. A digital book will ensure sustainability, while dissemination activities will help spread knowledge to local and European stakeholders.
