▶Objectives
The general objective of the project is to foster a generation of environmentally conscious and socially responsible young European citizens who are equipped to address the interconnected challenges of climate change and social exclusion. To achieve this, we will create a collection of lesson plans that integrate the themes of environmental sustainability and social inclusion into core school subjects, as well as a Teachers’ Guide with guidelines for implementing these lesson plans.
▶Activities
Curriculum Development. Curriculum Delivery. Student-Led Project Ideation Workshops: students will develop their own project proposals that address both environmental sustainability and social inclusion. European Seminar: Students will have the opportunity to receive constructive feedback on their project proposals from their peers. Implementation of Student-Led Projects. Webinars in four languages on how to use use the lesson plans and Teachers’ Guide produced in this project.
▶Impact
A collection of lesson plans that integrate the themes of environmental sustainability and social inclusion into core school subjects, as well as a Teachers’ Guide with guidelines for implementing the lesson plans, in five languages (English, Spanish, French, Greek, and Hungarian). 90% of participating students will achieve a ‘high’ sense of empowerment and autonomy to address the interconnected challenges of climate change, social inequality, and exclusion.
