Objectives

With this project we aim to promote the social inclusion of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through entrepreneurship. This initiative addresses a critical need, as unemployment rates for people with autism range from 76% to 90%, according to Autism Europe. Objectives: 1. Promote labour market inclusion through entrepreneurship 2 Teach how to create a business around their interest 3. Provide tools to overcome ASD related challenges 4. Create a supportive community of ASD Entrepreneur

Activities

We will implement a self-regulation program to help autistic entrepreneurs manage their emotions, adapt to their environment and develop strategies for success in business. The Entrepreneurship Tools Program will tailor proven business methodologies to their needs. Finally, the Forum of Entrepreneurs with Autism will create a professional network where autistic entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate and engage with business professionals who understand autism.

Impact

As a result of this project, adults with autism will gain entrepreneurial skills, increasing financial independence and reducing unemployment. Each country will see a stronger autistic workforce, while Europe will benefit from the inclusion of a group of talented people at risk of social exclusion. A network of entrepreneurs with autism will emerge, promoting mutual support and collaboration. Society will become more inclusive as stereotypes are challenged, promoting inclusion and prosperity.
