Objectives

EMO-GI aims to explore the integration of socio-emotional learning (SEL) with geomedia and artificial intelligence (AI) in secondary and primary education teacher training. The goal is to enhance sustainability education particularly focused on climate change as a result of human actions and to address challenges such as climate change mitigation, disinformation, and emotional literacy.

Activities

-EXPLORE the relationship between emotions and climate change -DEVELOP an AI assistant for reliable sources of GI (Geographic Information) searches -CREATE digital storytelling maps on human actions for climate change mitigation options as lessons plans for learning -BUILD A MODEL of socio-emotional learning (SEL) for training teachers as ambassadors -TRAIN Ambassadors to promote the project main objectives

Impact

- A research REPORT about relations between emotions and climate change. - An AI ASSISTANT to do searches on GI to fulfil the objectives. - At least one DIGITAL STORYTELLING MAP for participant as a lesson plan for learning and teaching. - A MODEL of socio-emotional learning (SEL). - Two BLENDED TRAINING COURSES: Learning/Teaching/Training Activity (LTTA) to train teachers and support Ambassador’s programme.
