Objectives

DESGENAI will develop a joint curriculum and training platform combining DES and GAI to virtually model social, logistics, and manufacturing systems. With 12 demonstrative models and an optimized tool framework, the project will train over 300 students and 30 professionals via multilingual Moodle courses. This novel project bridges academia and industry, enhances digital, green, and inclusive skills, and boosts Europe’s competitiveness.

Activities

. Development of content into the syllabuses of at least 12 training materials to deal with a variety of systems (across 3 HE institutions) and tailored continuos training program . Validation of created content with real world industry cases . Wide dissemination (academic and industry) through: Annual workshops and a final conference to disseminate the project's results (proceedings published as open-access to broader accessibility and impact) . Online and face-to-face (f2f) training workshops

Impact

. Training at least 300 students and 30 industry professionals, equipping them with the skills to use advanced DES tools combined with GAI in real scenarios . A Moodle course for each HE Institution involved, with content in English and local languages, ensuring accessibility for learners . 12 simulation models with scenarios, freely accessible to the academic community . One paper in a high-impact JCR journal that describes the methodology for selecting the appropriate tools, whether DES or GAI
