▶Objectives
Given the increase in the demand for internships in VET centers, and the decrease in the quantity of companies to host them, which leaves out many students, especially those with intellectual disabilities, we propose an innovative strategy based on artificial intelligence (AI) to promote the inclusion and employability of these VET students in new markets, like technology, by easing the difficulties that companies face when hosting these internships.
▶Activities
Over 36 months, more than 69 activities and 3.797 actions will be carried out, grouped into 5 Work Packages: - WP1 for project management and implementation. - WP2 for the creation of the PRACT-IA system. - WP3 for the transformation of educational centers and the training and inclusion of VET students with and without ID. - WP4 for the implementation and testing of the TUTOR-IA strategy. - WP5 for the promotion of the international TUTOR-IA network, visibility, and dissemination.
▶Impact
To achieve the proposed objectives, the innovative TUTOR-IA strategy will be generated: a holistic strategy for the promotion of internships of students with ID in technological markets (among others) based on a digital micro-credential system and the PRACT-IA system, capable of establishing an intelligent and autonomous process to allow the students to be selected, trained, and integrated into the company, along with the international TUTOR-IA network or the training course.
