Objectives

CYBERSKILLS aims to meet the demand for skilled cybersecurity personnel in Europe by training at least 300 young people aged 18-30 from peripheral areas to improve their cybersecurity skills and facilitate their access to the labour market, promote collaboration between educational institutions, technology companies and other stakeholders, and foster the inclusion, labour mobility and employability of participants.

Activities

Five key activities will be implemented: outreach and recruitment of participants in educational institutions, assessment of cybersecurity competences and development of the training curriculum; design of a training programme through the creation of an e-learning platform with a serious game, pilot testing and standardisation of certifications. Later, the programme will be implemented through face-to-face practical workshops and data will be collected to assess the impact on employability. Final

Impact

The main outcomes of the project will be: an operational e-learning platform, an interactive cybersecurity game, detailed assessment reports and curricula, and a robust certification system. It will also produce intangible results, such as improved cybersecurity skills, enhanced youth employability, strengthened collaboration between industry and education, and a sustainable training model.
