▶Objectives
Through SPROUT we seek to promote youth leadership in relation to climate action by training young people and youth workers through participatory and innovative methodologies. The aim is to enhance the socio-environmental resilience of youth in different European territories while encouraging them to design innovative proposals to address the climate crisis.
▶Activities
Reflection on the climate emergency will be encouraged through the Climate Fresk methodology. Youth workers will accompany participants in identifying good local practices through human libraries. Subsequently, youth will create innovative proposals for their territories, addressing the climate crisis and will use digital animation techniques to disseminate their ideas, thus promoting change in their communities.
▶Impact
The project will generate a report on the vision of young people of the socio-environmental problems of their territories, a document in which the good practices identified in the territories of action as well as the innovative solutions designed by young people will be collected. In addition, at least 12 creative digital animations of the designed solutions will be created. Finally, a methodological guide will be created to facilitate the replicability of the processes carried out.
