▶Objectives
VerifAI aims to combat misinformation and rumors among young people about immigration, the LGTBI+ community, and other vulnerable groups. Through innovative digital tools, training, and awareness-raising activities, the project fosters critical thinking, social inclusion, and active youth participation in the fight against hate speech and fake news across Europe.
▶Activities
The project will develop an AI-based chatbot integrated into Instagram, training courses for youth workers and anti-rumor agents, pilot workshops in educational centers, Living Libraries, and Creative Labs. Additionally, focus groups will identify misinformation trends, and a gamified Personal Learning Environment will be created to enhance media literacy among young people.
▶Impact
The project expects to develop and implement the VerifAI chatbot, train 20 anti-rumor agents and 20 youth workers, engage 600 young people in pilot workshops, and organize community awareness activities. Additionally, the gamified Personal Learning Environment will strengthen digital and critical thinking skills, ensuring the project's impact continues beyond its duration.
