โ–ถObjectives

The aim of the project is to develop teaching methods and materials of dealing with difficult past events in social-sciences classes, along with teachers' capacity to develop innovative curricula and materials to teach about difficult histories. Second to that is the institutional need to develop institutional capacity of planning and implementing transnational programmes.

โ–ถActivities

The project implements student mobilities at historical sights, where they can learn about the past in non-formal and informal settings, and where they can work together with peers and teachers in order to prepare instructional materials that both details in a sensible manner past events, and build post-conflict resolution abilities.

โ–ถImpact

Project results are expected to be both tangible and intangible, ranging from a change in student attitude towards active citizenship and their role as non-governmental political actors, to teaching materials and methods aimed to support teachers in their approach to difficult historical events initially the Holocaust and, after the end if the project, other difficult events that each nation has had in its history.
