โ–ถObjectives

We aim to develop a collaboration model between schools and makerspaces, create Mobile Make It Labs with lesson plans for accessible technology education in underserved/rural areas, and enhance pupils' engagement in STEM through maker pedagogy. It seeks to increase teacher confidence in using new technologies and facilitate hands-on learning among pupils. The ultimate goal is to increase accessibility of education resources and strengthen collaboration between edu.institutions and makerspaces.

โ–ถActivities

1) Developing a collaboration model between schools and makerspaces tailored for underserved areas. 2) Creating Mobile Make It Labs equipped with STEM learning tools and resources for diverse educational settings. 3) Conducting professional development programs for educators to enhance their ability to use new technologies and incorporate maker pedagogy into their curriculum. These activities are designed to improve STEM education accessibility and engagement through hands-on learning

โ–ถImpact

We expect the project to bridge the educational gap in STEM, particularly in underserved areas, by developing a fitted collaboration model, deploying Mobile Make It Labs, and enhancing teacher competencies through professional development. These efforts aim to increase STEM engagement among pupils, improve digital literacy and practical skills, and foster stronger collaborations between educational institutions and makerspaces, leading to a more inclusive and accessible STEM education landscape.
