Objectives

The project explores methods how to teach emotional skills for children in two different countries. The goal is to share knowledge among teachers, students, and workplace representatives and to identify the best ways to support the development of children's emotional skills. Project will create a network for the future Erasmus activities in early childhood education. The project also strengthen the co-work with local companies and bring them new educational methods.

Activities

1. A kick off online education with key lecturers of emotional skills for teachers, students and worklife representatives 2. Two work seminars for teachers, worklife representatives and students in Greece and in Finland 3. An ebook gathering the best practices in how to teach emotional skills 4. Creating a permanent network for early childhood education actors with letters of intent for future Erasmus activities

Impact

Through the project, teachers, workplace representatives, and students learn new ways to teach emotional skills to children. The project creates opportunities to send students and teachers on exchange programs to early childhood education workplaces across Europe. It strengthens collaboration between vocational education and the working world, supports the regional development of early childhood education, and produces materials for professionals and students.
