The grand idea of the Carbon Stories project is to develop better narratives for adult heritage education. Museums far too often represent the industrial past as a technical parade or happy progress of welfare. Carbon Stories aims to develop new interpretations and educational tools that show industrial era in a profound context of global heating. Together, three museums and a green training company create, test, and disseminate new heritage narratives and promising methods for climate pedagogy.
