▶Objectives
The STEP project aligns with the Erasmus+ priority of Building inclusive higher education systems and promoting inclusion. HEIs across Europe welcome students who have been displaced due to war and crises, many of whom experience trauma. These students face barriers to learning, such as stress and isolation. However, teachers often lack the necessary skills to support and engage with students who have experienced trauma, which can negatively impact their well-being and academic success.
