Objectives

The E.A.S.E. project aims to enhance inclusive adventure-based learning in vocational education and training (VET) by equipping educators with adaptive outdoor education methodologies. It fosters student engagement, resilience, and employability through experiential learning, integrating sustainability, well-being, and teamwork. The project promotes policy adoption, institutional change, and long-term knowledge exchange, ensuring broad accessibility and impact across European VET systems.

Activities

The E.A.S.E. project will implement educator training through the Trailblazers’ Academy, develop the Pathfinder’s Toolkit, and conduct student expedition camps to apply adventure-based learning. It includes policy engagement, dissemination events, and digital resource creation to ensure sustainability. Activities involve workshops, peer mentoring, knowledge exchange, and long-term impact assessment to integrate inclusive outdoor education into VET curricula.

Impact

The E.A.S.E. project will deliver trained educators through the Trailblazers’ Academy, an open-access Pathfinder’s Toolkit, and inclusive expedition camps for students. It will lead to institutional adoption of adventure-based learning, policy recommendations, and long-term sustainability through digital resources. Expected outcomes include enhanced student engagement, improved soft skills, increased employability, and the integration of outdoor education in VET curricula.
