Objectives

We aim to equip youth workers with the competence needed to engage with youth on controversial views and those in core of ideological social conflicts, and to foster inclusive dialogue and cohesion. The project will develop new approaches and test pedagogical framework to youth work that strengthens the capacity of youth work promoting democratic values, produces evidence-based policy recommendations to integrate the learnings and outcomes into national and international youth work framework.

Activities

Through joint exploration, practical experimentation, and in-depth training, the project will drive the transformation of youth work to better address current societal challenges. We will organise 1 international and 3-6 national training for at least 60 youth workers including metoring and supporing them in their process of implementing the newly acquired competences. We will organise international and national conferences. We will co-write a practical guide, method bank and white paper.

Impact

The project will produce a tested and refined curriculum, equipping youth workers with dialogue facilitation and innovative youth work competences. It will enable local implementation of initiatives, engaging young people in discussions on societal challenges. The project fosters stronger collaboration with policymakers and creates sustainable networks for knowledge-sharing. Key outputs include training curriculum, a two part practical guide for youth workers, a whitepaper for policymakers.
