โ–ถObjectives

Various barriers hinder young people (17-29) from participating in society and seeking support for their mental well-being. CROSSWAY will produce information on groups of vulnerable young people with migrant background and the available support practices in four European countries and enhance networking and knowledge sharing to promote wellbeing. By exploring the youth and stakeholder perspectives, the aim is to facilitate dialogue for finding solutions to current problems and for future crises.

โ–ถActivities

Mapping of stakeholders in Finland, Denmark, Greece and Spain will lay the bases for inviting participants and focusing the in-depth work. Selected stakeholders will be interviewed. Experiences of young people and youth perspective, including Ukrainian youth, has a central role. Research based information will be processed in participatory activities, disseminated and scaled up to recommendations. Networking and knowledge sharing will be conducted throughout the project.

โ–ถImpact

CROSSWAY will provide research-based information and facilitate knowledge sharing to promote mental health of young people with migrant background, focusing specially to vulnerable groups. Participatory activities will bring European stakeholders to discuss solutions and to learn from each other. The aim is to facilitate dialogue between research, practice and policy making, to increase understanding and to support youth in need as well as youth work and other people working in the field.
