Objectives

The main objective of WE SAFE is to exchange good practices between three EU organizations fighting VAW and to promote gender equality through the upskilling of social operators accompanying women victims of violence in their paths of empowerment in the field of social housing, job orientation and professional reinsertion, thus fostering social inclusion, safety, and employability and to inspire further initiatives of this kind in the EU context.

Activities

The activities foresee 3 training sessions in order to strengthen the partnership ability to accompany women on their paths of exit from violence and incarceration. Two workshops on social housing will be delivered by SF13 and SF La Louvière in their respective venues, and one by Lazzarelle on job orientation and social entrepreneurship. Local workshops in Marseille and La Louvière will enhance women participation and empowerment while local workshops in all venues will facilitate community buil

Impact

Main expected results are improved competencies of staff members on 1) job orientation 2) sustainable and social enterprises 2) social housing in order to enhance social inclusion, professional reinsertion and safety of women victims of violence and/or detainees. Main material outcomes will be: 2 social and sustainable enterprises ideas, guidelines on social housing and guidelines on job orientation collected in a comprehensive handbook.
