▶Objectives
EUtopia aims to promote the exchange of best practices between three European organizations—MS (France), OuiShare (Spain), and Lazzarelle (Italy)—to foster regenerative tourism and raise awareness about its potential for enhancing community well-being and environmental sustainability. It seeks to empower communities through the interactions between locals and tourists and to increase international networks around regenerative tourism, creating an ideal EU context in which living and travelling.
▶Activities
EUtopia activities will be represented by: an expedition to Barcelona in order to have a first-hand experience of regenerative tourism practices, research activities to be carried out in three partners contexts in order to gather more knowledge and skills, workshops with locals and tourists for co-development of regenerative tourism and network creation for their diffusion and expansion.
▶Impact
Results of the project will include: increased awareness and knowledge on regenerative tourism at local and glocal level, strengthening of partnerships and collaborations for the creation of a broader EU network of regenerative tourism and fostered active participation and interaction among tourists and locals. Main material outcomes will be: co-developed ideas sum up in a map to distribute and framework on regenerative tourism to share and adopt.
