▶Objectives
It is a project of exchanges of practices and sharing of experiential knowledge, accompanied by an artist, for a public of deafblind people and professionals of deafblindness. It mixes art and human encounters, on a sensory journey through French-speaking Europe (Belgium, France, La Réunion Island). This project works towards the social inclusion of deafblind people at a European level, valuing mutual assistance, aiming to guarantee full European citizenship for all.
▶Activities
This project will promote the movement of singular bodies, meeting, sharing artistic and cultural experiences, life experiences, professional practices in perpetual evolution, singular and personal communications, giving time, spaces and means to share our know-how, our research, our sensitivities, between Europeans with deafblind people with double sensory impairment, professionals of deafblindness and an artist.
▶Impact
A project to better draw our complex European identity, contribute to better inhabit this common world together, with all our singularities, by producing multiple materials from our exchanges, brought together in a documentary that will share them with our peers and raise awareness of deafblindness. We also seek to alert public authorities for better recognition of this rare handicap and therefore a better deployment of services at European level.
