▶Objectives
alternARTives aims to support professionals and volunteers from partner organisations facing the challenges of putting cultural rights into practice. alternARTives inteds to enable participants to develop their analytical skills and make inclusive proposals. The project specifically addresses the issues of governance, project management and building relationships with people and communities whose cultural expressions are invisible.
▶Activities
alternARTives offers training, exchanges of experience and the sharing of specific tools and methodologies linked to the cultural rights framework, by enabling employees and volunteers from partner organisations to meet each other via a mobility programme. Activities will take the form of action research, alternating learning visits, testimonials and collective reflection. The resources will be shared on a website to encourage the dissemination of results.
▶Impact
alternARTives aims to enhance the skills of 30 adult members of the partner organisations by providing them with insights into the interpretation of cultural rights and to promote the effective participation of people in the activities of their organisations. Besides, the project will produce podcasts, a mini-documentary and a research report on the implementation of cultural rights in the European context.
