Objectives

The In2Community project aims to strengthen the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities (ID) through the exchange of best practices in community work. Through mobilities, the project will promote the training of professionals, the autonomy and participation of people with ID, and the creation of European networks for inclusion. A sustainable and replicable approach will be ensured, aligned with the principles of accessibility and equality set by Erasmus+.

Activities

The In2Community project includes three mobilities in Spain, France, and Ireland for the exchange of best practices in community inclusion. Online preparatory meetings will be held before the mobilities to introduce methodologies and prepare participants. Additionally, workshops, visits to local organizations, and training activities will be conducted. FSC will lead the communication and dissemination strategy, ensuring the sustainability and impact of the project at the European level.

Impact

In2Community aims to achieve greater social inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities (ID), strengthen professionals' competencies in inclusive methodologies, and establish a European cooperation network for community inclusion. The project will generate replicable best practices, accessible materials, and a sustainable integration model, ensuring that its learnings extend beyond its duration and benefit future Erasmus+ initiatives.
