▶Objectives
This project aims to equip environmental players (managers, educators, committed citizens) with the green skills they need to raise awareness among the general public and decision-makers of the crucial issues of rewilding and free evolution. The main objective is to create an innovative teaching kit, designed jointly by Canopée (France) and Forêt & Naturalité (Belgium), combining scientific expertise and accessible pedagogy, and tested on French-Belgian pilot territories.
▶Activities
The 12-month project will be carried out in three phases: an initial phase of scientific and educational research; a phase of tool creation and testing in five pilot areas, involving target groups; and a phase of finalization and dissemination, notably via a launch event in partnership with the Utopia Movement and widespread digital distribution.
▶Impact
The main output will be a bilingual (French-English) teaching kit focusing on the green skills needed to understand and promote rewilding. Tested and validated in the field, it will be widely distributed via the 2 organizations' websites, the EPALE platform, UNESCO's Man & Biosphere program, and other European networks, thus contributing to the creation of a community of practice and the promotion of sustainable management of natural areas.
