▶Objectives
The main objectives of this project are: To foster transnational exchanges and knowledge-sharing on deafblind awareness-raising among trainers from partners organizations. To develop an innovative deafblind awareness-raising workshop along with five educational videos to enhance understanding and inclusion. To ensure that people who are not deafblind gain a deeper and more accurate understanding of the rights, needs, and daily challenges faced by deafblind individuals.
▶Activities
1. Transnational meeting in Zagreb, Croatia (preparatory phase): development of a deafblind awareness-raising workshop and five deafblind awareness videos. 2. Second transnational meeting in Brussels, Belgium: conduction of a test workshop to European Non-Governmental Organisations and finetuning of the workshop materials based on their feedback as well as production of 5 videos in International Sign on topics related to deafblind awareness-raising.
▶Impact
- Strengthening a sustainable network of adult education organisations in France, Croatia, The Netherlands and Belgium that are active in the field of deafblind field. - The partner organisations are providing a high-quality deafblind awareness workshop at the European level and after the project in their respective countries. - The deafblind awareness-raising videos in International Sign are shared and used by other (deafblind) trainers in their activities in the EU countries.
