We aim to empower and strengthen the capacities of women and gender minority filmmakers, while promoting their professional opportunities across Europe. By amplifying underrepresented voices telling inclusive stories, we also encourage other actors in the field to adopt similar approaches. Additionally, we seek to enhance synergies between associations to more effectively combat unequal access to careers in European cinema and increase our impact.

We plan an online program for 12 filmmakers, featuring expert-led sessions, workshops to improve film pitching, individual coaching, and an immersive experience at the Festival des Arcs. This will help participants better understand the ecosystem, expand their networks, and provide visibility for their projects. The program is designed to develop their skills and track their progress over the medium term.

We expect improved project structuring, increased skills, and a broader professional network within the European film industry, leading to tangible medium-term collaborations. The filmmakers will gain legitimacy and visibility, become more confident, and be better equipped to defend and realize their projects while leveraging opportunities in the European industry. This is a program for a more inclusive sector, ready to be disseminated!
