This project "the Immersives" aims to raise awareness of the ecological crisis through practical workshops on recycling and reuse and to promote green jobs through professional immersions in crafts and recycling. The initiative fosters intercultural collaboration with transnational exchanges and shares best practices through testimonials and documentaries. It enables beneficiaries who are far from the job market to act as informed citizens for a more engaged ecological transition.

This project offers work experience immersions to discover green jobs and acquire know-how and skills. It includes 18 work placements and 13 workshops on upcycling, fast fashion and waste management, the making of testimonials and videos, as well as visits and meetings with experts. Three participants will take part in a 4-day transnational immersion in Barcelona and in Bordeaux to gain an intercultural perspective and become ambassadors for the project.

The Immersives strengthens intercultural, linguistic and technical skills related to environmental issues. The beneficiaries gain in confidence, share their knowledge and influence those around them. Through workshops and collaborations, they develop new green skills, create social links and gain access to new professional opportunities. It encourages them to become part of a collective and socially responsible dynamic in favour of the ecological transition.
