▶Objectives
CILIA aims to equip adult educators with the necessary skills, methodologies & digital tools to effectively teach IL skills to PwDs. More specifically, CILIA aims: ➡ to enhance adult educators’ competencies in IL education. ➡ to develop digital tools that enable accessible, inclusive learning. ➡ to create structured educational content integrating best practices & assistive technologies. ➡ to foster transnational cooperation in adult education. ➡ to ensure long-term adoption of CILIA Methodogy.
▶Activities
CILIA will implement 3 key activities: (1) Research & Analysis: Conducting local focus groups to assess adult educators' training needs, culminating in a Comprehensive Report. (2) Development of Training & Digital Tools: Creating a CILIA Handbook(70 pages), 12 e-learning modules, a multilingual Online Platform & an adaptive Mobile App for PwDs & educators.(3) Capacity-Building: Hosting two In-Service Trainings (FR & GR) to train 36 adult educators in IL education, awarding Europass certificates.
▶Impact
CILIA will produce a Comprehensive Report, a 70-page Handbook & 12 e-learning modules on Independent Living education. The CILIA Online Platform will host multilingual training content, while the CILIA Mobile App will offer assistive tools for PwDs & a valuable teaching aid for adult educators supporting PwDs' Independent Living. Two In-Service Trainings will train 36 educators in inclusive pedagogy and assistive tech, awarding Europass certificates to enhance professional recognition.
