Objectives

The project aims to increase the skills of territorial actors (associations, elected officials, attractiveness agencies, agricultural actors) in order to welcome and support project holders returning to the land whether they are new farmers, entrepreneurs or families. It aims to create common and specific training modules for Greece, Italy, France, Cyprus and Croatia. It also aims to launch a community of European actors mobilized around the "return to the land" at the level of the union.

Activities

We will organize 5 learning expeditions in Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Croatia and France to discover inspiring projects, exchange with local actors and identify the issues, opportunities and levers that are common and specific to each country. We will develop a training methodology and specific modules that will be tested in the 5 countries. We will publish a book incorporating projects from other countries, and we will launch the community of European actors of return to land.

Impact

We aim to produce hospitality methodologies in order to support of project holders, with a European base but applicable in different countries. Through the project, we will mobilize core groups of actors involved in supporting the "return to land" in the countries covered by the project. We will launch a community of European players at the level of the 27 to promote and support the "return to land", as a European response to address the challenges of transitions.
